AMX Acquires Endeleo

UK-based Endeleo, a manufacturer of TV and media distribution technologies, has been acquired by AMX, allowing the company to grow in the digital signage, multimedia distribution and control markets.

"Our acquisition of Endeleo is part of a strategic plan to further extend our product portfolio in the areas of content delivery and retrieval," says AMX president and CEO Rashid Skaf. "Endeleo products also support our device and asset control strategies by their ability to be controlled, managed and scheduled."

Endeleo's managed television distribution system, the TVM1600, is able to support up to 192 channels per display connection, and supports content distribution via CAT5 networks. Mr. Skaf sees opportunities in broadcast facilities, banks, hotels, and more, according to a recent press release.
