Regency Duty Free Supermarket Uses Digital Signage
Regency Duty Free, a leading New Zealand supermarket, recently had a digital signage solution installed in their stores. Because of the intense competition in the grocery industry, Regency Duty Free was looking to get an edge over other grocery chains and spur sales. The displays were implemented and supplied by New Zealand digital signage company OpenEye Displays. The large flat panel displays give the grocer an edge in a tight market, and make their stores look and feel ultra-modern. The displays are designed to show product information to consumers with the hope of encouraging sales that would not normally occur according to consumer's traditional shopping patterns. The content can be changed or updated at any time from a remote computer containing the solution's administration software.
