LitePix ADTV by ImageXpres

The LitePix Digital Signage product line has recently been expanded by ImageXpres Corporation. The company announced today that they will be offering the capability to simultaneously display High Definition TV programming along with displaying digital advertising content on the same display. Digital advertising is delivered utilizing proprietary software and a broadband internet connection to the large screen display. Concurrently, regular TV programming is displayed via a cable TV feed, thus enabling customers to watch TV programs while simultaneously viewing digital advertising.

John Zankowski, President and Chief Executive Officer of ImageXpres, says, "We expect the ImageXpres LitePix ADTV product line to have great appeal for clients seeking to build their own customer base on a local geographic basis, and also to national advertisers seeking to increase their brand recognition via multiple advertising media channels. The primary locations for the LitePix ADTV displays will be restaurants, waiting rooms, hotel lobbies, public buildings and public transportation facilities where there are captive audiences."

The LitePix ADTV platform has the capabilities to display both TV and digital advertising features. It opens up a large commercial market segment for the expanding alternative advertising media industry. Digital Signage Resource expects the market to grow beyond the $1 billion US within the next 12 months. The LitePix ADTV Displays will come in a variety of sizes, ranging from 37 inch to 50 inch LCD screens. They will be sold to commercial customers such as retail stores, health clubs, medical offices and government agencies.

LitePix has been testing the displays in Rochester New York, and claim that results have been favorable. Because of the success of the NY testing, they have planned several new locations which are slated for Atlanta, GA, as well as Orlando, FL, and Miami, FL. The pilot trials will include the development of digital advertising content, and the delivery of the content through Internet Protocol software from servers located in Rochester, NY. ImageXpres expects to announce several strategic partnerships to place LitePix ADTV Displays units in major hotels and restaurants this fiscal year.
