Minicom Paris CAT5 Digital Signage Player
Minicom Advanced Systems Ltd., announced last week that it will debut its new CAT5 digital signage player to screen distribution systems at this year’s Digital Signage show in Paris. The show runs from November 14, 2006 to November 16, 2006. The show is the only French meeting for dynamic multimedia communication professionals. “Although a relatively small part of the full digital signage solution, investing in the right distribution system is the smartest move towards implementing a successful digital signage network,” says Denis Adda, Sales Manager for Minicom France. “Our CAT5 based distribution systems, extenders and splitters have all the performance and flexibility you need for real-time, high-resolution and high-performance multimedia delivery.” Minicom has become a leading expert in the distribution of real-time multimedia digital signage content from player to plasma and LCD screens and serial control for maintaining maximum digital signage system uptime. The use of digital signage in out-of-home advertising to replace traditional signage is pushing up demand for advanced audio and video distribution technologies. The industry is growing as such that the market set to reach $1 billion USD by 2007. Visitors can see Minicom at the LCS booth Y11, Porte de Versailles, Paris.
