MyAdTV Free Digital Signage Platform

MyAdTV brings a whole new approach to the digital signage world. The software service provider announced the release of the MyAdTV digital signage platform, which they intend to provide free of charge to the public. Their press release indicated that they are committed to bringing digital signage solutions to the masses, and that they hope to do so through the MyAdTv platform. The platform, designed to be a complete solution to in-store advertising, allows businesses to find and advertise on third party digital signage displays through a reciprocal advertising program called MyAdXchange.

MyAdTV hopes to bring more cost effective signage solutions by transforming a traditional digital signage platform into a low cost, easy to administer application. They are currently offering the "MyAdTV Starter Package" for free so that virtually anyone with a PC and an internet connection can gain access. Some of the features of the package include:

Content creation and playback can be preformed on any PC that is connected to the Internet.
Content display can be controlled and updated remotely from any location without interruption to the display.
The usage is easy enough for a new user to self-start in less than 30 minutes.

Their advertisement trading platform is also a breakthrough in the digital signage arena. MyAdXchange is an automated ad content trading system designed to help store owners swap advertising time for the purpose of cross-promotion. They hope that this tool will help local stores convert near by shoppers into customers.

The MyAdTV platform is scalable and reconfigurable according to their recent press release. The account architecture allows business owners to increase (or decrease) usage at their own pace. Accounts can be configured in a number of ways with a variety of administration levels. The architecture also allows content aggregation from different users within the MyAdTV chain.

MyAdTV hopes that their new digital signage platform will create new opportunities for other small businesses besides just store owners. Their press release suggests that service oriented companies can easily incorporate digital signage to their existing operation. Using MyAdTV's new platform, businesses such as content creation and management, system integration, and on-location ad sales can enter this market without a large amount of starting capital.
