Smallest lightest Digital Signage Media Player By 1-2-1VIEWSmallest lightest Digital Signage Media Player By 1-2-1VIEW1-2-1VIEW Corporation, a turnkey digital signage system provider, will be unveiling its new digital media player at IBC in Amsterdam from September 8th to September 11th. The new player, named Ninja N106, is touted to be the smallest, lightest, and most cost effective digital media player available in the market. It will weigh only 370 grams, and will measure 18.8cm X 13cm X 7.3cm. The Ninja N106 is a very flexible device, both in terms of technology, and of size. It is scalable across an infinite number of digital signage screens at varried locations, is built on open standards like Linux OS, and is IP network controlled for easy administration. It's light weigt can be attributed to the IP set-top box technology which it is built on, as can its low cost of operation and ownership. The player solves the problem of implementing digital signage in to tight, and hard to access areas with its flexible four-way mounting capability that can accommodate even the most awkward deployment scenario. It has no moving parts, as it dissipates very little heat, no fan is necessary. This is beneficial if deployment is taking place in an area where noise is an issue, or where there are strict fire regulations.
Many systems today are PC based, and thus require a great deal of electricity to run and are often unreliable. The Ninja consumes far less power, is more reliable, and has faster boot up times than a traditional PC based model. There are obvious cost and poperational advantages here. 1-2-1VIEW also offers one-click-to go web based Digital Media Management software which provides tracking and monitoring capabilities, controls volume, scheduling, and can power on or off various screens throughout the architecture with one click of a mouse. The Ninja N106 is fully compatible with this software, and can be easily integrated. 1-2-1VIEW's Ninja N106 is newest addition to a wide array of network controlled media players offered by the company. These playes all offer solutions for any digital signage application. It is considered a companion player to the Samurai Media Player, another 1-2-1VIEW offering which features a built-in motion activated personal monitor. |
